RodSentry uses a small single-use sensing capsule inserted into the rock bolt coupling before installation. The capsule is intentionally destroyed during the installation process — and that destruction is the verification.
Insert
The capsule is placed inside the bolt coupling before the mating rod is driven in. No modification to existing bolts, tools, or rigs is required.
Install
As the bolt is driven to depth, it physically crushes the capsule in a controlled sequence. Two internal sensing points within the capsule are triggered at precisely calibrated stages of installation.
Confirm
A wireless signal is sent to a receiver on the drilling rig or worn by the operator. A traffic-light indicator gives the operator instant, unambiguous confirmation before moving to the next bolt.
